NOTE, Geotagged photos MAPS:
If you look at the bottom of the photos posted here on Posterous you will find the link that says Posted from with a link ie: Okanagan Similkameen F, Canada Clicking on the Posted from link will bring up a mini map of the location of the photo (as long as it has geotagging available). This is an approx. location of the photo shot. This will be handy while I am kayaking and posting via mobile phone email (Blackberry in my case).
It will also let readers know where I am while I am on a paddle excursion to. Where I am camping etc. I also added the Twitter update box on the right column on the site that appears to be updated every 10 mins after I post. My Blackberry also has MSN messenger as well. So you will be almost-live with GuyTha Lizard (as long as I have cellphone service, maybe someday I will get a satelite phone and be able to post from anywhere in the world, LOL) Great posibilities!
This hi-tech stuff is too much fun. A Hero Helmet Cam next I hope. Be nice to have good quality video of my trips as well.
All-in-all I am really beginning to like this new site's cababilities. It is so user friendly. If you don't have a Posterous Blog and are looking for a new blogging site to start one, you should consider Posterous.
