"Paddle Drip Shield" Testing my new and improved
Re-constructed my and improved "Paddle Drip Shield" yesterday.
I prevously used a planter pot. Yesterday we picked up a red Crazy-Carpet and used 3M Super77 adhesive spray to some blue Closed-Cell backpacker's sleeping foam. This gave the Crazy-Carpet ridgidity that was needed (thanks to Kathy McA for the foam idea).
Today I tested it out on the lake. Bit of snow, wind, some white-caps today made for a good test. This new design made for a pleasurable paddle on the lake, there was 99% less water in the kayak after testing. Will try to upload the paddle video from today.
