A Geocaching and Kayaking day! Sept 23/11
Windy day today so Kathy and I geocached then went for a paddle up the Okanagan River!
Started our day with Geocaching and found a few caches along the S/W shore of Okanagan Lake. We talked of starting our own geocaches only our caches will be mostly kayak or canoe accessible in the future. After our Geocaching we went for a paddle "up the river". That was interesting, the water was going up the channel's center as apposed to the usual flow down to Skaha Lake due to the wind. We paddled with the wind and current at our backs to the reservation bridge where the regular flow was against us at that point. Had a short break then paddled along the edge where the flow was mostly calm. Managed to get some interesting photos as the day went by. Here are Kathy and my photos/videos below. Enjoy!

No that's not a pile of garbage, its the contents of the geocache we found, that we neatly put back and repositioned the cache for the next person.
